Price
Introduction
Price, is the corner-stone of most charts. Whilst there are various widgets available that utilize price data feeds, the MMT chart widget is primarily focused on visually displaying the historical and current price action.
There are a variety of methods in which price can be displayed on your chart within the MMT terminal. Traditional methods such as Candlesticks or a simple Line plot, are accompanied by more advanced order flow based methods, such as Footprints. Depending upon the other elements present on your chart, one way of displaying price action may be favoured over another.
Price Options
Below we will explore the various methods in which price can be displayed, and subsequently analyzed, within your MMT charts.
Candlesticks
Candlesticks display price with 4 distinct prices per timeframe. Each candlestick shows the Open, High, Low, and Close (OHLC), prices recorded during the candle's lifespan.

The body of the candle spans the Open and Close prices, whereas the wicks extend from the High to the Low. If the Close > Open, an overall increase in price was recorded. Whereas if the Open > Close, an overall decrease in price was recorded.
Candlestick Configuration Options
There are two configuration options at present for Candlesticks. These are in the form of two color pickers:
Bull Color - This is the color that will be used when the recorded Closing price, was greater than the recorded opening price.
Bear Color - This is the color that will be used when the recorded Closing price, was less than the recorded opening price.
Line
Line is a basic plot of the price at the close of each timeframe. Whilst simple, the line plot can be useful when paired a range over layers that are displayed alongside price in the same chart pane.

Line Configuration Options
Given the simplicity of the Line plot, there are two configuration options that are available.
Line Config - GIF/WEBP/VIDEO
Color - Color in which the Line plot will be rendered
Thickness - The weight of the Line plot.
Footprint Cluster & Footprint Profile
The Footprint Cluster & Footprint Profile are a powerful method in which to assess market flow during a candle's lifespan. Providing a large number of data points per timeframe, Footprints are a core stable of an Order Flow trader's toolkit.
Given the highly configurable nature of MMT's Footprint Charts, all respective options an configurations, along with an introduction for those unfamiliar, are explained within the dedicated Footprint documentation.
Heiken Ashi
Heikin-Ashi candles use a modified formula based on prior candle data to smooth price action. Each candle still displays Open, High, Low, and Close values, but these are calculated averages.

Smoother body transitions reduce market noise. Green bodies typically form when prices trend upward; red bodies form when prices trend downward. Wicks reflect intra-period extremes.
